Instant Analysis: No. 400 is a blowout victory

It was supposed to be a step up in competition, but No. 10 Florida took it in stride. The Gators (14-2, 4-0 Southeastern Conference) started fast and never let off in an 83-52 victory against the No. 17 Missouri Tigers (13-4, 2-2 SEC) on Saturday for Billy Donovan's 400th victory. Instant Analysis takes a look at another big conference win for Florida.

IT WAS OVER WHEN: Pick a point, any point. Missouri was out of the game in less than three minutes and never trailed by less than double digits from the 16:43 mark of the first half on. The Gators came right out of the gates with a suffocating press and forced three steals in the game's first five minutes.

HE STOLE THE SHOW: There was one elite point guard on the floor Saturday and it wasn't Missouri star Phil Pressey. Scottie Wilbekin dominated the game defensively, limiting Pressey two days after dominating Texas A&M's Elston Turner. Offensively, he was a catalyst and finished the game with 13 points and 10 assists.

THE STAT DOESN'T LIE: Pressey was another name in a growing list of star guards stifled by the Gators. A point of emphasis for the Gators, he had more turnovers (10) than assists (6) and shot 1 of 7 for two points.

OH WHAT A PLAY: There was a laundry list of highlight dunks late in the second half when things got entirely out of control, but nothing mirrored the game as a whole quite like a first-half Wilbekin steal that was fed to Kenny Boynton. Going up over Tony Criswell, Boynton hit the layup and drew a foul.

THIS MATCHUP PROVED KEY: With Laurence Bowers out, the Tigers had almost no answer inside. Patric Young, Will Yeguete and Erik Murphy combined for 37 points and the Gators outscored the Tigers in the paint 48-14.
